She was born in Wilder Vermont and was a life long Springfield resident. She was a graduate of South Lancaster -Atlantic Union College. She was a school teacher at the former Miss Barker's School on Central teaching nursery and first grade, retiring in 1980.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Norman H. Paquette; two sons and their spouses, Theodore N. and his wife, Janice of West Springfield, Richard C. and his wife, Alicia of Springfield; a brother, the Reverend William Ambler of Andrews, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Brandi-Rose Paquette, Andrew Paquette, and Matthew Paquette.

Jehling 1922 2002 GLASTONBURY, CT Laura Ann (Braun) Jehling, 79, of Glastonbury, widow of Russell M. Jehling, died Friday, April 5, 2002: at home. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she had lived in St. Louis many years and retired with her husband to Cape Cod in 1984, she moved to Framington in 2000 and to Glastonbury in 2001.

Longmeadow High School and lived in Springfield for many years before moving to Palmer 6 years ago. He was a machinist for Marox Company in Holyoke for the past seven years and had previously worked at Smith Wesson for 10 years.

David was a musician from a young age, and was the drummer for two local bands, "Justin" and "the Detonators." He was also an avid 'gardener and loved the outdoors. He spent much of his leisure time his mother, he was predeceased by a brother Roger.
