  One of my favorite math professors ever. Teaches the concepts clearly and concisely. Gives exam reviews that are the questions on the real exam but with different numbers and makes it clear what to know and the work that the course demands. There is nothing that you shouldn't know by the time exams come around and is exemplary teacher.

  Took Marino last semester but just now seeing his RMP. He lives up to all the ratings and is easily a top professor at UB. While I don't like math, and don't plan on taking future courses, I would love the opportunity to have Marino as a professor again. Truly a great guy, knows what he is talking about, and is just hysterical.

  I am not goods in math or calculus, however Dr.Marino help me a lot, he is a teacher with funny speech. Calculus is hard, but he will let it become easier.

  Professor Marino's engaging lectures and enthusiastic support ensured student success, earning him high recommendations. In contrast, SI Nick's sessions were a disaster; his arrogant demeanor and self-centered approach made them unproductive and disrespectful, ultimately wasting students' time.

  This teacher was honestly the best professor I have ever had. He prepares you for everything and nothing is ever a surprise. The homework is actually helpful in preparing you for the quizzes and tests. He is super funny and tries to make class enjoyable. 10/10 reccomend.

  Professor Marino lives up to the hype. He truly is a great professor who cares about all of his students inside and out of the classroom. Professor Marino was always cracking jokes which makes the boring lectures more entertaining. Having the lecture videos posted are very helpful, and the tests and quizzes are the same as the review.   Wonderful math teacher. As someone who is really bad at math, Marino makes these concepts easy to understand IF YOU ATTEND THE LECTURES. Lectures are posted online, he basically tells you what's on the quizzes and exams and the review sheets are extremely helpful. Homework is not bad at all. Don't talk in his lectures, he will kick you out lol.

  Marino was the best math professor i've ever had. His lectures were engaging and he offered so many resourses for extra help. All of the tests and quizes were straight forward and even if your not good at math, it's very possible to do well in this course. I couldn't recommed him enough!

  Marino is an awesome professor. I struggled with calculus and other maths like this before taking his class. He presents the material clearly and in an understanding way. He jokes around and makes the class less stressful. Once a week there are quizzes on the prior week material. He gives tips and helps in any way possible. Take if you can!

  Professor Marino is the man. He's naturally funny and isn't afraid to crack jokes in front of students. He breaks down the content so its easy to understand and he won't burden you with homework. Exams are only 6 questions in total and he gives you review sheets that mirror them. Also, all lectures are available online if you decide to skip class.

  Review sheets were very similar to quizzes and he post his lectures which were really helpful and easy to understand. He's also really nice and you can tell he wants his students to do well. Just don't go on your phone during lecture and he takes attendance.

  He is such an amazing professor. He cares about the success of his students. He is very hilarious during lecture and cracks jokes about himself. Quizzes and tests are straightforward with tests being the exact same format as his study guides! As long as you study and do your work, this class is easy.
