“Here’s my favorite tropical smoothie recipe: Mango Pineapple Lassa.

  • 2 spears fresh mango
  • 2 spears fresh pineapple
  • 2 pods of Green Cardamon
  • 2/3 cup of plain Greek yogurt (organic preferred)
  • Handful of ice

“In a blender put in your mango, pineapple, and ice. Open cardamom pods and take out the seeds. Smash all the seeds in a mortar and pestle. Add to blender. Blend thoroughly, stopping to push everything down. Add your yogurt and pulse a couple of times. Now it is ready to enjoy. This will be thick, so you might want a straw. If you want it sweet add some honey. I liked it not being sweet.”

“Smoothies can be a great way to give yourself a mini-vacation during your lunch break or on your way to work in the morning.

“Travel to the tropics by infusing your regular smoothie with some punchy flavors like passion fruit or lychee.

“The Tropic Wonder:

  • 1/2 pineapple
  • 1/2 mango
  • 1 passion fruit
  • 3/4 to 1 cup coconut milk
  • 8-9 Lychees (optional)
  • 6 ice cubes

“This blissful blend of antioxidant-rich tropical fruits will deliver a serious flavor kick. Perfect for post-workout or on hot summer days. For the lychees, which can be hard to find, check out specialty grocery stores near you and look in the canned aisles. These floral, vitamin-abundant fruits are natives of Southeast Asia.

“As this smoothie is dairy-free, it works great for folks with sensitive stomachs and as a light way to start your morning right.

“If you are so inclined, this recipe is a perfect base for a boozy smoothie or frozen margarita. Add the juice of one lime and tequila to taste to take this smoothie from lounging beachside to dancing in Cabo.”

“My favorite tropical smoothie recipe is the Yellow Tropical Smoothie. A yellow tropical smoothie is a vegan drink that you can take at any time in a day. It is an energetic and refreshing drink that contains fiber, saturated fat, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, potassium, and manganese.

“The best part of this smoothie is that you don’t need to add additional sugar. Its natural sweetness of the fruits is enough to make this smoothie sweet and tasty.

“Ingredients you need:

  • 1 medium-sized orange
  • 1 cup of frozen mangoes (take 1½ cup fresh mango in place of frozen mango)
  • 1 cup of frozen pineapple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of coconut milk/water
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnishing

“The process to need to follow:

  • Place all the fruit in the blender and blend together.
  • Add coconut milk.
  • Blend it for a couple of minutes.
  • Store it in the refrigerator.
  • Garnish it with mint leaves and serve it chilled.

“Another one to try is the Green Tropical Smoothie. A tropical drink would be incomplete if you don’t add a green element to it. The green tropical smoothie is a super creamy and healthy smoothie that can give you vibes of a tropical place.

“This is a perfect drink for the sunny summer and gives you the most refreshing taste. So let’s get started with the recipe.

“Ingredients you need:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of frozen mango
  • 1½ cup spinach
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds

“The process to need to follow:

  • Place all the ingredients in the blender.

  • Serve it chilled.”

“This tropical smoothie is healthy because it doesn’t have any added sugars and relies only on natural sweetness from tropical fruit.

“An added bonus of the shredded coconut is that it boosts the fiber content of the smoothie. To increase the creaminess of this smoothie, a tablespoon of coconut cream could be added to the mixture.

“Ingredients:

  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 1 cup canned pineapple chunks in 100% juice
  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened milk of choice (coconut milk would be preferred for the tropical theme)

“The addition of protein powder is optional, but a good idea if you’re going to drink this as your meal, especially if it’s post-workout. Frozen riced cauliflower is a sneaky addition that you’re guaranteed not to notice, and provides fat-burning fiber that will keep you for hours! Additionally, the ginger used in this smoothie gives it a nice zing, and makes it the perfect option to kick-start any morning. To make, simply blend 2 scoops vanilla protein powder, ½ cup frozen mango, 6oz coconut water, 4oz filtered water, 1 frozen ginger cube (or 1 tsp fresh), and ½ cup frozen riced cauliflower in a blender and enjoy!”

“I used to live in Caracas, Venezuela.Close by we have La Guaira, with incredible beaches and great local food. In these hot summer days, there was only one thing that calms me, Pineapple Smoothies, cheap, with coconut, delicious. “Recipe:

  • 1 pineapple, cubed
  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ cup of coconut milk and ½ of coconut water
  • Some ice
  • Splash of lemon

“Blend it well and serve it cold, bonus points if you serve it in a hollow pineapple with a little umbrella. If you don’t have one, that’s okay. The banana is there to give natural sweetness to the mix.”
